A. Processor Data (“Your Content”)

This is the personal media (videos, photos, audio, captions) you upload for us to transform into a documentary.

  • You are the data controller

  • We are the processor

  • We use this only to deliver your requested Services.

 
B. Controller Data (Account & Usage Information)

This includes:

  • Identifiers: Name, email, phone, shipping/billing address

  • Payment Data: Only the last four digits of your credit card and payment token

  • Technical Data: Device info, browser, IP address, pages visited

 
4. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Create and deliver your documentary or keepsake

  • Manage your account and customer service requests

  • Process payments and prevent fraud

  • Improve our Services and website performance

  • Send communications (e.g. links to your video, new features, and occasional marketing—you can opt out anytime)

5. Content Ownership & Retention

  • Your content is yours. We never use it in marketing unless we ask and you grant explicit written permission.

  • By default, we delete your content 12 months after your documentary is completed.

  • If you delete your account or request deletion earlier, we’ll remove your content promptly.

6. Third-Party Services

We partner with trusted vendors (e.g. cloud hosting, video editing) to deliver your movie. These vendors:

  • Only access your data to perform their services

  • Are prohibited from using it for any other purpose

  • Are used by thousands of reputable companies and subject to strong security and privacy obligations

 
7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Remember your preferences

  • Improve site performance

  • Analyze site usage

  • Customize your experience

You can disable cookies in your browser. VividMemoirs does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

We keep your video content 12 months after final delivery (or upon request).

We keep your data as long as needed for your account and legal needs.
