Founded in suburban Maryland in 2020, VividMemoirs is the creation of a visionary senior living professional who had a blast interviewing hundreds of amazing retirees as part of a previous job. She developed a passion to see people capture their life stories on video. Until recently, the only way for someone to create a "personal video biography" was to hire a documentarian to follow him or her around for days - prices ranged from $1,500 to $30,000! To make such a treasure affordable to everyone, she used her expertise in visual storytelling and software integrations to build VividMemoirs, envisioned to be a benefit to retirement communities and other senior health organizations throughout the world.
